Kindergarten

Overview

Our Kindergartenprogram will play a vital part of your child’s education. In order to help your child blossom and grow, our educators will ensure your child is constantly learning new things through play-based learning. Educators play an important role in influencing and being a role model for children by providing opportunities for children to learn and develop new skills. Our Kindergartenprogram supports them by enhancing their learning experience. Our students have the opportunity to:
  • Discover and create
  • Solve meaningful problems
  • Create connections to discover relationships between objectsand people
  • Develop confidence in their ability to think things through

Our Approach

By enriching the environment in which our Kindergarten students study inwith play materials such as toys and games, we hope to improve intelligence, spark creative thinking, and improve communication, vocabulary, and language skills forthem to build upon in their later years.

Environment

Our classrooms provide a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere where children are motivated to learn. Children are provided with a variety of play areas for learning and development, such as a building blocks space, where children develop numeracy and decisionmaking skills through the use of building blocks, a gym where children practice balance and coordination, and an art space where children expand their creativity and increase their selfesteem.

Daytoday activities that children participate in are built around encouraging children to learn to take turns and share materials, develop new friendships, become selfreliant, cooperate with others, increase attention span, and develop selfesteem.

Interactions and Relationships

Our Kindergartenteachers interact with children in a warm, responsive, and sensitive manner. By finding common interests, spending time with each child, and observing their learning styles, our teachers will build a lasting relationship with every child.

Our certified teachers see all students as capable, motivated learners. By working sidebyside with each child, giving verbal encouragement, and/or provoking a new interest, we make the most of every child’s learning opportunity.
