Curriculum

At Iqra Islamic School, our curriculum is designed to provide a well-rounded education that integrates both academic excellence and Islamic teachings. We believe in nurturing the whole child, ensuring they grow intellectually, spiritually, and morally to become role-model Canadian citizens.

Our academic program follows the Manitoba curriculum, covering all essential subjects such as mathematics, science, language arts, and social studies. We employ inquiry-based learning strategies that encourage students to think critically, creatively, and collaboratively. Technology is integrated into our classrooms to enhance learning and prepare students for the digital age.

In addition to the standard curriculum, we offer a comprehensive Islamic Studies program. This includes the study of the Qur’an, Hadith, Seerah (the life of Prophet Muhammad), and Islamic history. Our goal is to instill strong Islamic values and ethics in our students, helping them to lead lives guided by faith and morality. Students also memorize the Qur’an and learn Arabic.

At Iqra Islamic School, we emphasize the importance of character building and community involvement. Our students participate in various activities that promote teamwork, empathy, and social responsibility. We are committed to preparing our students to be responsible, ethical, and contributing members of society.
