New Islamic High School Campus Opening September 2025

Iqra Islamic School in Winnipeg, Manitoba, has some exciting news to share! We are opening a brand-new, state-of-the-art high school for students in grades 9, 10, and 11. This is a big step for our school, and we can’t wait to welcome our students into this amazing new space. The high school will have modern classrooms, a fully equipped science lab, and a big gymnasium for sports and activities. We’re designing it to be a place where students can learn, grow, and have fun—all while staying connected to their Islamic values.

The new high school will offer courses that focus on STEM—Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math—and business. These subjects are so important for the future, and we want our students to be ready for whatever comes next. In STEM classes, they’ll get to do experiments in the science lab, build projects, and learn how technology works. The business courses will teach them how to think like leaders, start their own ideas, and solve problems. We believe these skills will help them succeed in college, careers, and life.

The science lab is one of the coolest parts of the new building. It’s going to have everything students need to explore science in a hands-on way. They’ll be able to mix chemicals, study plants and animals, and see how things work in the real world. Having a lab like this means our students won’t just read about science—they’ll actually do it! We’re so excited to see them discover new things and get inspired.

The gymnasium is another big addition. It’s a huge space where students can play sports, stay active, and have fun together. Whether it’s basketball, soccer, or fitness classes, the gym will be a place for everyone to enjoy. We know that staying healthy and working as a team are important, so we made sure the gym is ready for all kinds of activities.
