Hud Hud Athletics
Compete. Belong. Represent. Our teams are stepping onto the provincial stage, and it starts on the pitch.
Hud Hud Athletics is about building confidence, resilience, and unity, not just winning matches.
Our young athletes play smart and play hard, developing fitness, discipline and a true sense of team. Sport at IQRA is a place to belong, to lead, and to represent your school and your Islam with pride and good character.
Stepping onto the provincial stage
In 2026–27, IQRA joins the Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association (MHSAA), the body that governs interscholastic sport across the province. For the first time, our students will compete in sanctioned games against high schools right across Manitoba.
It's a proud step forward for our young high school, and a chance for our athletes to test themselves, represent IQRA, and show what our community is made of.
It starts with soccer
Soccer is where Hud Hud Athletics begins. Our players train at top facilities around the city, including Princess Auto Stadium and the University of Winnipeg RecPlex, building skill, fitness and team spirit on and off the pitch.
As our high school grows, so will our program, with more sports and more chances for every student to get in the game.
What our athletes take with them
Confidence & resilience
Learning to push through challenges, win with humility and lose with grace.
Teamwork & unity
Playing for something bigger than yourself, and building friendships that last.
Sportsmanship & pride
Representing IQRA and our Islam with good character, on and off the field.
Join a school where your child can compete and belong.
