Manitoba's only Islamic high school. Rigorous, university-bound study where students prepare for their future grounded in Islam.
As Manitoba's only Islamic high school, our Senior Years program prepares students for university and life, with academic rigour and a strong moral compass.
Following the Manitoba curriculum toward a high school diploma, students in Grades 9 to 12 build the credits and skills universities expect, choosing from streamed maths, sciences and a wide range of electives, while keeping their Islam and identity at the centre of who they are.
Students earn a minimum of 30 credits over the four-year program. Islamic Studies and Arabic are required in every grade. Choose a grade to see its courses.

Senior English develops sophisticated reading, critical analysis and composition. Students engage with complex literature and informational texts, evaluate argument and rhetoric, and write with clarity, evidence and purpose.
Across English 10F through ELA: Comprehensive Focus 40S, the emphasis shifts toward independent research, academic writing and oral communication, the skills students need for university.
Grade 9 completes the Kindergarten-to-9 foundation across number, algebra, geometry and statistics. From Grade 10, mathematics streams so every student follows the pathway that fits their plans, and IQRA offers all three Manitoba streams, each earning a credit toward graduation.
In Grade 12, students can extend further with Introduction to Calculus and Advanced Mathematics, exploring limits, derivatives, applications of derivatives and integration.
Senior science begins with Science 10F and 20F, then streams into Biology, Chemistry and Physics at the 30S and 40S levels.
Students carry out laboratory investigations, analyze data, and build the scientific foundation universities expect for science, engineering and health-care pathways.
Senior social studies builds informed, active citizens. Students begin with Canada in the Contemporary World in Grade 9, examining our demographics, geography and the evolving stories of the peoples of Canada, then turn to Geographic Issues of the 21st Century in Grade 10, using the tools of geography, including GIS, to study natural resources, food, trade, urbanization and sustainable development.
In Grade 11, History of Canada traces the country from pre-contact times to the present through five themes, among them First Nations, Métis and Inuit Peoples, governance and economics, and identity and citizenship. Students can go further with Grade 12 Global Issues: Citizenship and Sustainability, a course built around inquiry, ethical decision-making and a real school- or community-based action project.
Offered as an elective from Grade 9 through Grade 12, Visual Arts immerses students in the full artistic process across the four Manitoba learning areas, Making, Creating, Connecting and Responding. Students develop technical skill across a range of media and build a body of personal work.
Through sustained studio practice, study of art in its cultural and historical contexts, and critical reflection, students refine a personal artistic voice and a portfolio that can support post-secondary art and design pathways.
Physical and health education continues as a compulsory credit in every senior year, organized around the same five general learning outcomes, movement, fitness management, safety, personal and social management, and healthy lifestyle practices. In Grades 9 and 10, students broaden their movement repertoire and deepen their understanding of fitness, safe activity, and personal and social wellbeing.
In Grades 11 and 12, the focus shifts to taking ownership of an active, healthy life, students design and carry out a personal physical-activity plan and study nutrition, mental-emotional health and substance-use awareness, building habits that last beyond graduation.
Students learn with laptops and our online Learning Management System, supporting both classroom and home study.
Report cards each term and parent–teacher conferences keep families close to their child's progress.
Individual Education Plan (IEP) and English as an Additional Language (EAL) support help every child thrive.
